The amount of scrap metal acquired by ZAO “Vtorchermet” annually is approximately 800,000 – 1000,000 tons. According to the Customs Statistics part of Vtorchermet scrap export from the Saint Petersburg’s ports is 14%. Scrap is divided into scrap in a fifty-fifty ratio. Territorial breakdown of the acquisition of scrap metal purchased from the four main areas: European part of Russia, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

The market share of ZAO “Vtorchermet” in the city and regional acquisition is 25–30%. Acquisition of scrap metal from the regions of the Russian Federation is concentrated primality in the European part of Russia. The main regions supplying scrap metal to the Northwest Federal District and ZAO “Vtorchermet” are Tver, Moscow, Nizhni Novgorod, Lipetsk and Smolensk regions.

We supply our products to Southeast Asia (China, Korea, and Malaysia), as well as to Turkey, Western Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa.  The products are shipped through the terminals located on the territories of OAO Mosrkoy port in St. Petersburg. In addition, the company has an export terminals in Rostov (the Sea of Azov). The opening of the export terminal in the south allowed our suppliers to choose the most beneficial shipping routes.
